This 90 minute class consists of a set sequence of 26 beginner postures & 2 breathing exercises in a heated room. Challenging at first, then addictively enjoyable, the heat and consistency of the poses will take you into a moving meditation while strengthening, detoxifying, and opening your entire body.

As an immigrant to America in 1991, I’ve long sought to find friends and family in the community. I found my way to yoga in 1997 thanks to daily Bikram yoga practice and supporting & accepting group of fellow yogis. In a year 2000 I realized that I, too, could create that space for others, & took a Bikram oriented training locally from Kate and Joe Reece, & in 2002 became certified at the RYT 200 level via the Academy of Yoga, an Iyengar based yoga teacher training taught by Kevin Durkin, CMT. ( an amazing yoga therapist & internationally known Iyengar teacher)
I have enjoyed teaching Bikram series since 2000 & helping thousands of people to unplug and find calm & peace in their otherwise hectic lives. I practice what I preach – I believe yoga changed my life and helped me to be a better person, more generous partner & kinder friend, not to mention the various health benefits of having a regular practice.
I have also constantly strived to find new ways to help people & learn skills via numerous workshops led by great teachers such as Judith Lasater, Jon T. ( Atmananda yoga founder), Aadil Pakhivala, Doug Keller, Erich Schiffman, Paula Tarantino - among a long list of other fantastic teachers who touched my heart & affected the way I practice & share my knowledge with others.
