The annual Students' Union Conference encourages students from across Sheffield to celebrate what unites us as well as our differences.

The Conference, titled "A City United by Difference" will encourage students to tackle difficult issues and encourage debate from across the political spectrum. Featuring high profile speakers from within the University, the City of Sheffield and further afield, the Conference will encourage students to partake in difficult conversations, tackle hate crime and gain an understanding of what it means to be a student and a citizen in 2018.

Our keynote address comes from the renowned journalist, activist and comedian Shaista Aziz, with Paul Blomfield MP joining SU President Luke Renwick to open the Conference, and Sheffield Hallam lecturer Dr Rebecca Wright among many leading exciting sessions.

All attendees will receive a lunch from Fusion Cafe and a high quality delegate pack. For any questions email uusunionconference@shu.ac.uk and register your place today at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-city-united-by-difference-conference-tickets-44482076087
