#var:page_name# cover

As part of Sensoria 2018, Central Piedmont Community College and UNC Charlotte's College of Arts + Architecture mark the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI with Benjamin Britten’s masterpiece "War Requiem."

The two performances of this 20th-century work of reconciliation and peace employ two orchestras, mixed chorus, boys chorus, and three soloists (over 150 performers from the greater Charlotte community!). The work is unique in its juxtaposition of Latin Requiem Mass texts and the transformative poetry of English soldier and WWI casualty Wilfred Owen.

Special thanks to media partner WFAE 90.7 FM.

Performances are April 13th and 14th at 7:30pm in the Halton Theatre on Central Campus! Get your tickets at the link or call 704-330-6534!

Free for veterans and active military. CPCC students are free. Visit the box office in person or call for more info on those tickets.
