Now in our third year of the Mudslinger Gravel Series, we are proud to be one of three amazing gravel races in the Finger Lakes Region. After a record number of riders in 2017, for 2018 we have added a longer Elite Race as well as two Masters' fields.
All riders who enter the race will be scored in the Mudslinger Gravel Series and eligible for series prizes to be awarded at his race as it's the Championship Race of the Series. This race has also been designated by New York State Bicycle Racing Association as the 2018 New York State Gravel Championship!
We strongly recommend that all riders use a gravel bike, mountain bike or fat bike. Although some gravel grinders are road bike friendly, this course has some technical seasonal use roads that make a road bike unsafe to race.
All riders are welcome to attempt the Elite Field but riders who register in that class who do not hit the intersection of Town Line Road and Canadice Road (mile 30) by 1:30 p.m. will be sent to the finish for the equivalent of the Intermediate Course (see maps below or on BikeReg page). Riders who get cut-off will be scored in the Elite Field based on when they finished but after all riders who complete the full distance.
