Town Hall Live #4 // Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre // Friday 22nd June 2018

Future Horizons (math/post-hardcore)(last ever show)
Archipelago (jazz/math/improv)
First Process Church Of Mars (doom/drone/psych)
Oort Cloud (ambient/electronic)

Since 2012, Future Horizons have been making glorious mathy post-hardcore, inspired by the likes of Fall of Troy, At The Drive-In, Tool and many more alt-rock greats. After many DIY releases, UK tours (including an appearance at last year's Arctangent Festival) and endless support shows with many of their geographically nearer influences i.e. Rolo Tomassi, Black Peaks, Mutiny On The Bounty, Three Trapped Tigers and more, Will, Milo, Josh and Jake have decided to call it a day in order to move on to pastures new. This is their last ever show, so if you want to catch them one more time before the curtain call, this is it.

More riffage comes from Newcastle's Archipelago, who have been dubbed 'The Joy Division of Jazz' by local press. They make intensely rhythmic and melodic racket which is pretty difficult to pin down, as they lend themselves to the worlds of jazz, math and improv. Led by Faye (Sax/Clarinet), and joined by John (Bass) and Christian (Drums), Archipelago will hopefully deliver you to an alternative and exciting place.

This show will also mark the return of First Process Church Of Mars, Hartlepool's premier drone/doom outfit. Expect maybe one or two new songs, around 15 minutes in length each, with slow, intense builds of noise and psychedelic experimentation.

Lastly, Oort CLouD will open up proceedings, who makes experimental soundscapes. Get along early for this new ambient producer.
