In recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week - April 8 through April 14 - the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) of Opportunities for Otsego is hosting several memorial exhibits to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community.

Empty Place at the Table is a memorial honoring local victims killed in the act of domestic violence. The 2018 exhibit features a dining table set with personal effects donated by the families of Solveig Perry of Laurens, New York and Robin Marie Teague of Deltona, Florida.

This exhibit, and others, will be on display at a reception being held on Tuesday, April 10th at Hartwick College, Anderson Center for the Arts from 5:30PM until 7:30PM.

The reception is free and open to the public and will include light refreshments. Donations of linens, personal hygiene items, and toiletries for the Violence Intervention Program shelter are welcome.
