Are you ready to be baptized?
What is baptism?
It is an open display of your faith in Jesus Christ! During baptism you will quickly be immersed in water which typifies the washing away of ALL OF YOUR SINS 🤗! Once you come up you are renewed in the eyes of God & are committing to living a life that continually pleases God!!

Do we baptize infants? Why?
We want the very best for your baby, and so does God. Therefore, we perform christenings for babies; which means we dedicate your infants back to Christ and allow you the opportunity to raise them as a Christian and teach them how to navigate through life using biblical principles. Once they have grown of age to fully understand the Birth, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, only then we will baptize them. Remember, your child is very precious to us and precious to God, therefore we want them to have the opportunity to grow up and enjoy the privilege of learning who God is and make a personal choice to receive Jesus Christ. We want them to make right choices in life, for themselves!
Do we baptize older children and adults?
Yes! We love to welcome people into the family of God. Children (ages 5+) and adults are required to attend our Baptismal class. This class is required in order to ensure that each person understands the commitment being made.
I have already been baptized in another denomination. Do I need to be re-baptized to join Harvest Time Ministry?
No. As long as your baptism involved the following:
1. Being fully immersed with water
2. Being baptized in the Name of Jesus
3. Being able to make the decision on your own based on your own personal belief and desire to follow Jesus Christ.
You do not need to be baptized again!! However, If you were extremely young and your parents made the decision for you, or if you wish to re-commit your life back to Christ, you are more than welcome to be baptized again.
Do you have private baptisms?
No, baptism is the public display of your faith in Jesus Christ and your decision to be apart of the family of God through the Church, so baptisms are a normal part of our corporate worship as the Body of Christ. We have a baptism celebration service, where everyone who is being baptized comes together to be baptized and celebrate their commitment to their faith.
An exception would be clinical baptism which is administered to the gravely ill.
Can my family attend my baptism?
Absolutely! We encourage you to invite your family to come and to take photos! This is a celebration you want to remember.
Do we need to be members?
No, but After Baptism, we do advise that you adjoin yourself to a local church. Baptism is only 1 part of salvation, and you need a church home to help you experience every part of salvation. Also, once you are baptized, we will offer you a class that will teach you how to live and receive all the benefits that living for Christ has to offer.
