Our Great Gardens lecture series, presented by Patty Laughlin of Lorax Landscaping, continues with Dividing, Transplanting and Replacing Garden Plants. If you have mature perennials gardens you’ll occasionally find yourself with crowded plants, dieback, poor bloom, insect and disease pressure and/or reduced vigor. If you know you have healthy soil and encounter these issues it may be time for a garden intervention. In this talk, Patty will explain how to identify issues and decide what is required to reinvigorate your garden plants. She’ll discuss how to divide plants properly, best practices for moving plants and how to know when it’s time to replace them. This will also be great information if you enjoy sharing plants with friends and family. Please note the lecture time is changing to 7pm.
