Knitted Knockers are special, handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies. These are made and donated by volunteers across the country and distributed FREE to mastectomy patients. This project is a great way to reach out to those in need. It's a quick project and ideal for learning small-circumference knitting in the round. There are a few different methods to make the Knitted Knockers but this workshop will focus on making them in the round, top-down, with DPNs. We hope you'll join us for this opportunity to make a comforting contribution that truly comes from the heart. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please call the shop to reserve your spot! 248.541.9665.
