Interested in how to make walking and biking safer in Kern County? Register now for the latest Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Training (CPBST) in the City of Arvin on Friday, April 20th! Join us to identify priorities to share with the City of Arvin on how to make walking and biking safer for seniors, youth, parents and people with disabilities in Arvin. Please wear comfortable shoes. A community walk is part of this event for those able to participate. An optional supplemental bike assessment will be led by Bike Arvin. If you are interested in participating, you must bring your bike and helmet to the workshop and register. Dinner and spanish interpretation will be available. Adults and minors will earn 3.5 hours/10 hours towards a free bike through Bike Arvin and the Dolores Huerta Foundation's Earn-a-Bike program.
