Cathey Robertson is collecting hand-made (knit and crochet) scarves to give to individuals through the Meals on Wheels program. Scarves should be no larger than 6" wide x 60" long, can be any stitch, will be collected all year long, and given to individuals during the month of December. In 2016, Meals on Wheels collected 950 scarves for 1,500 clients. A note will go into each bag (gallon size) with the scarf to indicate the scarf was made with loving hands and prayers from a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, Havre de Grace, MD. A big Thank You already goes out to Mrs. Elma Hollars (Shirley Pollitt’s Mom) who has made 20 scarves in 2018 to pass along to the program.
Please bring the scarves to the church on Sundays and we will be sure Cathey gets them.
