The first meeting of the Hawaii Museums Association was held on May 3rd, 1968 at Queen Emma’s Palace. 50 years later, we will be celebrating our anniversary on the very same day at the Manoa Heritage Center’s new Visitor Center. We would love to have as many former Board of Directors attend as possible. If you know former board members, please let them know about the reception and encourage them to register for the upcoming conference. There are so many people that we have lost contact with over the years – help us reconnect! The reception on May 3rd will begin at 5:00 and last until 7:00 with pupus and a cash bar. Due to limited parking at the new Manoa Heritage Visitor Center, please consider carpooling. There will be valet parking to maximize the space.
We hope to see you there!
