Five days of riding, horse and barn care and old fashioned fun.
Youth ages 8-16 will participate in one riding lesson and the care of their horse for the week.
9:00am-4:00pm (drop off as early as 8am, pick up as late as 5pm)
-riding lesson each day
-participants are responsible for the care of their horse each day and will receive instruction on cleaning stalls, feeding, and additional equine maintenance not covered in weekly lessons
-t-shirt included in clinic fee
-weekly fee of $375+hst, $100 deposit required immediately to reserve space.
The purpose of this clinic is to provide participants with the opportunity to participate in the daily care of their horses and the farm. From turnout to cleaning tack, participants will be involved in every aspect necessary to become knowledgeable horse owners and horse people.
Riding lessons will be once per day instructed by Lindsay Hayes-Cofell, MMIEC certified instructor.
Participants should be able to ride independently and safely at the walk, jog and lope in a group setting in order to participate.
Participants will need:
-SEI approved riding helmet
-shoe or boot with a small heel
-long pants for riding, preferably jeans
-hat, sunscreen, rain gear
-lunch, water and snacks
