Vedic meditation is derived from the Veda, which is the 5,000-year-old body of wisdom and source of yoga and Ayurvedic medicine.
The Vedas are the most ancient Hindu scriptures, written in early Sanskrit. They contain hymns, philosophy, and guidance on rituals for the priests of the ancient Vedic religion. The Vedic knowledge is believed to have been directly revealed only to seers and preserved by oral tradition.
In Vedic Meditation, the mind and body silently experience a particular sound, a mantra, and settle down automatically and spontaneously without any effort, focus, or concentration.
A short twice daily practice of Vedic meditation will improve your focus, lesson anxieties and depression and allow you to focus on the things that are important in your life!
