Bangor Racial and Economic Justice Coalition (BREJC) will be having a general meeting Wednesday, April 25th at 5:30pm, at the Health Equity Alliance offices located at 106 Pine Street, Bangor Maine.
The meeting agenda features discussion of direct actions in our community. This month, BREJC has started a police accountability network, and discussion will center on further planning around this group's activities.
BREJC creates a safe space for people to learn and plan how to act against systemic racism and white supremacy. This process can be emotionally difficult and takes practice. Participants have the opportunity to meet regularly to maintain ongoing connections to each other.
To make sure people feel safe communicating the problems they're encountering as part of our community:
-All are welcome!
-Please respect chosen pronouns and preferences of people in attendance.
-Let's focus on solutions together!
See you there! Sharing this with your networks is greatly appreciated
