Tuning In: Body Awareness for Mental Health
6 week series

May 11 - June 15 at 3:00-4:30 pm

We all struggle at times with our mental health - whether it's balancing anxiety, agitation and ungrounded states; or working through depression, grief, and lack of motivation. This six-week series will provide a supportive environment to explore how these states manifest in the body, and practices which nudge us towards the deep listening and witnessing skills necessary to navigate challenging times.

Each class will include a check-in and self-reflection time, and an exploration of both dynamic movement (Yang) and practices of stillness and observation (Yin). Our focus will be tuning into the body's innate wisdom, feeling the energetic imbalances present, and learning to truly listen for what we need.

Madison is an acupuncturist and yogi with lived experience of mental illness and extreme states. She strives to empower individuals to put into practice the therapies that best support their own bodies and experiences. Learn more about Madison www.madisonkolla.com
