Brighton folk-punk band the Levellers are visiting Hereford in this year's 30th anniversary tour, performing in the cathedral on 17 July. The concert will showcase their new acoustic album 'We the Collective', recorded at Abbey Road Studios with legendary producer John Leckie. It consists of new arrangements of eight of their most popular singles, plus two new songs.
The Levellers sold more platinum, gold, and silver albums in the 1990s than any other act. They have had seven Top 40 albums, including the number 1 album Zeitgeist and their platinum-selling 1991 album Levelling The Land, and a number of Top 40 singles including This Garden, Hope St, Just the One and What a Beautiful Day.
They will be supported by Ginger Wildheart.
