Join us for our four-week Bird Scouts program, intended for kids aged 11-14, every Saturday in April from 1 - 3 pm!
Bird Scouts explores feathers, flight, and the features that make birds unique. Using tools and technology, kids aged 11-14 will identify local species and investigate environmental changes that impact bird behavior. The checklists we submit to eBird—a citizen science project from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology—help scientists track changes in bird distribution and abundance across the globe. (We will even get to dissect an owl pellet!)
This program is FREE but space is limited & registration is required. Please register or get more information by contacting us at 814-266-5610 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
