BATTLE OF THE BREWS
Hill & Hollow is proud to announce a Four-way Collaboration Dinner to celebrate National Beer Day, our first ever Battle of the Brews.
A Five-course Menu based around Early 20th -Century Appalachian dishes will be devised and concocted by Chef Matt Welsch of Vagabond Kitchen and Chef Marion Ohlinger of Hill & Hollow, and five brews each from Short Story Brewing and Brew Keepers Brewing will be paired in a friendly competition with each course.
Guests will choose their favorite for each course and an overall winner will be announced at the end of the meal. The meal will be prepared twice; Saturday April 7th at Hill & Hollow and again at Vagabond Kitchen in Wheeling on April 8th.
Reservations are required for both meals; the April 7th meal at 7:00 pm at Hill & Hollow is $60 pp, not including tax and gratuity; please make reservations by April 6th.

3rd Course~ Pit-Roasted Duck with Stewed Dumplings & Duck Egg Broth; paired with Flip Flop IPA vs Working Title Imperial IPA
4th Course~ Short-braised Lamb Shoulder over Cornmeal Mush, paired with My Friends Call Me Red Amber Ale vs Eireann Dearg Irish Red Ale
5th Course~ Ginseng-Mint Mincemeat Hand Pie, paired with Sin Nombre Mexican Ale vs Lamplighter Pilsner
