"You are my tenth Prime Minister, Mr. Blair. My first, of course, was Winston Churchill."

Film Hub N.I. in association with the Hillsborough Festival present The Queen (2006) directed by Stepen Frears and starring Helen Mirren and Michael Sheen. A fascinating, funny, wicked and to the point, this is an excellent film about a week every Briton over the age of 25 will remember vividly. Following the death of Princess Diana in an auto accident, Queen Elizabeth II (Mirren) and Prime Minister Tony Blair (Sheen) struggle to decide how the royal family should publicly respond to the tragedy.

This screening will be accompanied by highlights of royal visits to Northern Ireland from Northern Ireland Screen's Digital Film Archive. For more information go to https://digitalfilmarchive.net/
