The Flemington Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is hosting a free seminar on the budget-friendly preservation and improvement of historic homes and commercial buildings on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10:00am - Noon in the Historic Courthouse.
An optional walking tour will follow.
Refreshments will be served, and members of the HPC will also be on hand to answer questions about the HPC approval process.
As a reminder, by Borough ordinance, most exterior work on properties within the Flemington Historic District that is visible from a public right of way must be approved by the HPC. This includes the replacement and repair of windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding, porches, stairs, and larger projects like additions and new construction. The review process is professional, friendly, informative, and free. Additional information is available at flemingtonhpc.com or by calling 908.782.8840.
