Historic Latta Plantation, located in Huntersville, North Carolina, has been offering educational programs to school-aged children for over 40 years. Many Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students have memories of candle dipping on Latta's lawn and seeing the herd of sheep greet them for a pat behind the ears.

Peak season for scheduling field trips are through the fall and spring months, however, programs are available throughout the entire year; special off-season rates in January and February.
