The Angel Choir
A free community gospel concert to benefit the Fishing with Angels event.
Saturday, May 5 at 7pm
In the John E. Hillert Auditorium
Last year, The Angel Choir came together to raise needed funds to support Fishing with Angels: an event providing fishing opportunities for area children with physical and cognitive disabilities. During the one-day fishing event, each child is partnered with a local first responder (fire, recuse, police), given a rod and bait and escorted to the banks of Smith Creek just behind the Masonic Amphitheatre to try to catch several of the nearly 500 trout that are freshly stocked specifically for the event.
Last year's ANGEL CHOIR event was a hit, and this year's Angel Choir Concert promises to be even better! Scheduled to perform this year are:
The Announcers, Milk and Honey, The Crimson River Band, and a host of local gospel choir talent.
Join us for an evening of fellowship and praise as we support the those who buy and stock the fish, buy the rods and reels and bait so that our local children in need can enjoy a day of fishing and fun.
