The vocal ensemble PING of St. Mary's College of Maryland will present a brief concert in the Brick Chapel (ca. 1667) of Historic St. Mary's City on Saturday, April 28 at 3:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public. The concert will feature music from various ages from the 16th Century to the present. Under the direction of Professor Larry Vote, PING is a group of specially chosen singers dedicated to achieving excellence in choral performance. In the past month they have performed at Washington National Cathedral, and with pianist Brian Ganz, during the St.Anne's Concert series in Annapolis, Maryland. Attendees for the April 28 concert should park in the Visitors Center Parking Area, and advised to check in at the Visitor Center prior to walking to the Chapel.
