Get ready to hit the trails at Holcombe Hill Wildlife Preserve! This 5K Trail Run will take you through beautiful hiking trails with an elevation of 830 ft above sea level, it is the highest point in town, and affords spectacular views of three counties from the 30 acres of hay fields on the property. Sprint, jog, or walk this beautiful trail, you won't want to miss it! Pre-registration is open!

Race starts at 10am to start Cinco De Mayo out in style! Finishing the race is just the beginning! Join us at the finish line for some good eats and drinks! Food trucks and fresh brew for finishers who purchase a Gold Level Ticket!

The best part... not only will you start your day out with a great run, but you will be raising funds for two amazing organizations:

Newtown Forest Association (NFA) is the oldest private land trust organization in CT. We are dedicated to preserving forests, agricultural lands, nature preserves, watersheds and other open space lands in Newtown, Connecticut for the ongoing benefit of the plant, animals and citizens of our town.

REACH Newtown, a non-profit organization based in Newtown, CT, with a mission to Connect Kids and Build Relationships That Change Lives! We exist to provide the children we serve with consistent, supportive, and caring relationships to feel safe, confident, and motivated to succeed throughout elementary, middle, and high school, college, and beyond. REACH serves over 200 children in Fairfield County, CT through a one-to-one mentorship program two days per week, a tutoring academy that serves our academically at-risk children four days per week, a weekend outdoor expedition program and a summer camp throughout the months of July and August all offered at no cost.

Hope to see you on the trails!
