Join us for a fascinating glimpse into the suffragette era origins of the League of Women Voters. Learn how the organization’s empowering history still influences the work of League chapters today to promote and protect voting rights throughout the U.S.

Following the presentation, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s latest exhibit, Atmosphere of Distinction: The Suffragette Movement’s Impact on West Michigan Fashion.

The League will be registering voters at the museum on April, 26, in conjunction with this program, as well as on June 16 and July 21, from 11:00am- 4:00pm.
