Thank you very much everyone for sharing your work at the last Hotchpotch, from the personal to the surreal via the thought-provoking. The next meeting is on Monday 16 April 2018 at The Tinsmith Dundee, 11-13 Old Hawkhill, Dundee, DD1 5EU. Our doors open at 6:30pm, and we start at 7pm.
Our cover photo shows the entrance, and the avatar is the green H we use to mark the table. There's no charge and no need to book. The bar serves food, and do stay for a drink afterwards as well. Our format is to read out your fiction and/or poetry – or another writer's work – for up to ten minutes. As people filter in, we'll ask if you want to read, though there's no obligation to perform; many regulars simply come to listen. The Hotchpotch ethos is one of no judgement and no criticism, so you're welcome to play it safe or to try out experimental creative pieces.
