Forged in the darkest corners of Sydney's late night, JaySounds signature sonics have morphed into a genre in its own right. With a menacing low-end take on House music - affectionately known as Warehouse Bass - Jay has turned his idols into his peers, with the likes of Don Diablo, Tiesto, Tommy Trash, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Ephwurd and Dyro amongst his loudest supporters.

While many producers are rushing towards radio, Jay’s musical conviction stands firmer than ever. After closing out 2017 with the Nightfall EP, a hostile mix of cinematic soundscapes and aggressive bass lines, Jay’s assault on House music has been unrelenting.

In stark contrast of dance music’s overnight sensations, JaySounds is a seasoned DJ as much as he is a producer. Cutting his teeth in the side rooms of Sydney clubs in the King Cross’ glory days, Jay now masters his craft across Australia’s biggest dance floors.

Sydney, let alone the rest of Australia has bottled the goodness of some undeniable talent in the dance music realm for many years. Jordan Magro is leading the charge adding himself to the electronic circle and showcasing future house, house and piano driven grooves from his studio to the decks. Throughout his teenage years inspiration has drawn him in from pioneers in the industry both local and international to the beats that get dropped around him.

2011 at 14 saw the studio take shape for Jordan following a brief encounter with The Bloody Beetroots and Crookers, both veterans to musical taste making. From here his sound took a hike in the right direction reeling in the notions that a meant-to-be producer was ready for and testing the aptitude of this generation’s pool of producers. At such a raw age Jordan remixed ‘Can’t Hold Us’ from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis burning the #1 spot for a continuous 6 weeks on America’s most listened to mix show- Remix Top 30 Countdown, leading him to being named the 26th most in demand remix producer in the USA placing three slots higher than Hardwell- leaving his mark well and truly.

Since then, Jordan has officially remixed some top 15 Aria club chart records including ‘I Am Sam & Archie feat. Sophia Brown – Together’, Social Hooliganz & Trifo Feat Jacob Lee - Need To Feel’ and ‘NatNoiz – Move’. His debut single ‘RUSH’ also placed highly at #13 in the Aria Club Charts and helped him garner massive support locally & internationally from djs such as Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Firebeatz, Chuckie, MAKJ, Timmy Trumpet and more.

As a DJ, Jordan encouraged the sound of his own tunes on dance floors giving Sydney siders an ear full of his best. With a talent to shine and an ear for others’ musical traits it wasn’t long before he created a solid name for himself before even becoming legal in the clubs! Australia’s biggest underage dance music festival Good Life festival was shaken by Jordan’s wild musical antics with the likes of Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Lil Jon while headlining the electro stage at Supernova also gave him the edge. Across the state underage parties became his bread and butter propelling him to the next level where the offshore events took a liking in Fiji for Schoolies headlining in 2013, 2014 & 2015.

With a dynamic year ahead on multiple originals across coveted labels, it’s best to save a spot for Jordan Magro on your calendars.
