featuring readings & presentations by Fanny Howe (with Eden McCutcheon Tirl) and John Keene

Poet and novelist Fanny Howe (author of THE WAGES/Pressed Wafer, 2018, and THE NEEDLE'S EYE/Graywolf, 2016) and fiction writer, poet & Harvard John Keene (author of COUNTER NARRATIVES/New Directions, 2015, and the poetry chapbook PLAYLAND/2016) will read from their work. As a special addition to the program, we are immensely honored to welcome Eden McCutcheon Tirl, the great great granddaughter of the "white slave" about whom Howe's book, THE WAGES, was written.

A book-signing, provided by our friends at the Harvard Book Store, will follow the event.
