You may have heard that fermented foods are good for you. Learn how to make your own fermented foods. In this hands-on workshop you will get to try a variety of sauerkrauts and you'll create and take home a quart of sauerkraut in a reuseable fermentation kit. PLUS you'll taste a variety of flavored krauts and other vegetables to set the stage for more fermentation experimentation at home. AND we'll be talking about and tasting kombucha and water kefir (Water kefir? What's that? You'll find out!). Food, knives, cutting boards, and fermentation kit are all included for full participants. For an additional $10 at the door you may bring a friend or significant other just to taste the fermented goodies. (+1s must be accompanied by full participants.) Just bring yourself and an apron if you're so inclined.
