It’s an honor that Annie Au will come to Luxembourg for the first time to help you finding your balance with this 3h workshop!
You’ll learn the fundamentals of Chinese medicine and Yin yoga including the Five Elements, Three Treasures, Chinese meridian system, healing sounds & colors, Yin Yang organs and their associated emotions. As well, Annie will show you how to infuse the elements of Qi Gong and acupressure points into your practice.
1hr 20 min of THEORY
- Introduction of yin yoga and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)
- A comparison of TCM and Yoga philosophy
- The five elements
- Three treasures (Shen, Qi, Jing)
- The twelve regular meridians (general intro of emotions, location & colors)
- Specific meridians for anti stress: Liver, Stomach, Heart
- Qi Gong, acupressure, food and meditation for these 3 meridians
10 min break- transition to practice
1hr 30 min of PRACTICE
- One hour of yin practice targeting specific meridians for anti-stress
- 20 min of yoga nidra, 10 min pranayama/seated meditation

Yin Yoga is also a sustaining self-practice that you can do regardless of age, ability and other conditions. Yin Yoga compliments perfectly to high-intensity yoga such as Ashtanga or Power yoga.

ABOUT ANNIE AU:
A former contemporary dancer in Vancouver, Annie is now a nomadic yoga trainer. Annie travels around the world most of the year leading training and workshops.
She has studied with Sri Dharma Mittra and has attended his 800hr Life of a Yogi Teacher Training in New York City.
Annie is a Yin Yang enthusiast. She enjoys the heart-beating Vinyasa flow and at the same time falls in love with the soul-cradling Yin practice. She has attended several Yin yoga teacher training herself and has finally decided to design her own complete Yin course with a comprehensive map of the inner and outer bodies. She is proud to present this Yin yoga and Chinese Meridians teacher training to the world.
Annie currently studies Tibetan Buddhism and makes time for silent retreats throughout the year.
