4 DAY NEW YEAR NIRVANA YOGA RETREAT
Let go of the old and embrace the new. The start of the New Year is the perfect opportunity to set intentions for the coming year and to build a foundation to make liberating and positive changes. This Nirvana retreat is a combination of Yoga and Yoga Nidra, plus a Kirtan session to mark the ending of one cycle and to welcome the new. It is a wonderful way to start 2019 and increase those feelings of joy, happiness, and health. During your stay, you will be provided with practical instruction and time to explore mindfulness, clarity, and self-awareness. Our instructors will guide you through a journey of self-exploration, where you find the connection to yourself and open your heart to let go of unwanted feelings and patterns.
We offer small class groups and classes are open to accommodate both beginners and more advanced yogis. In Yoga Nidra, you will be led to diving into a deep state of relaxation, the last level of consciousness before sleep. There you will set free all your inner body and mind tension. You are required to do nothing but to follow the voice of the instructor while laying down and feel invited to this yogic sleep.
Music is a powerful form of communication. If you never joined a Kirtan this is the opportunity to explore a different dimension with music being a form of meditation. This is not a religious kirtan and you do not need any previous experience. You will be led by a kirtan leader singing mantras with musical instruments. All participants are invited to sing along a series of joyful, heart opening mantras, feel the sound vibrations in our body and mind. The intention is to create collectively a beautiful energy. In your free time, you can explore the beautiful surroundings of House of Zen and take mindful walks along the beach. This is the perfect chance to dedicate time to yourself and calm down.
No previous experience is required. Just be open to deepening the connection to your mind and be guided to further develop yourself.
