Howard-Tilton Memorial Library and Newcomb College Institute invite Tulane faculty, students and staff to a Digital Humanities training workshop:

Tuesday, April 17, 2018 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Room 308, Howard-Tilton Memorial Library

During this interactive workshop, attendees will learn the fundamentals of digitally mapping events using Knight Lab's story map tool. We will explore some of the benefits and challenges of planning and digitizing scholarship and stories.
In the first hour, attendees will prepare their narratives for digitalization through a storyboarding process.
In the second hour, attendees will create their own digital story map using the tool. Attendees are encouraged
to bring their own digital images or may use the digital images provided for the session. Additional details to follow.
