Humboldt State University welcomes Harriete Estel Berman as part of this year's visiting artist lecture series. Berman is a jeweler, sculpture, and installation artist known for creating culturally relevant and politically charged work using post-consumer and recycled materials. Her work addresses various cultural issues, such as consumer identity, women’s roles in contemporary society, and sustainability. Berman's public lecture will occur in the Art Building, rm. 102 B, at 6:30pm on Thursday April 12th. All are welcome to attend!
