"Mariner's Compass - Foundation Piecing"
Taught by Alison Saunders

Two-day class fee $80
Foundations and Pattern Kit - $22 (Paid to the teacher on class day)

This two-day Foundation Piecing class is similar to paper piecing, but uses pre-printed stabilizer. This stabilizer can be left in or removed. The stabilizer allows the needle to stay sharper longer than paper does. Plus, there is no distortion in the copying of the pieces.

You will learn how to position fabric so that it covers the area where it goes. You will learn how to chain-piece when foundation piecing. When you are done with this two-day class, you will have a beautiful wall hanging.

Skill Level: Intermediate Beginner. You have to know how to cut fabric, use a rotary cutter and other sewing tools. You also need to know how to shorten you stitch length on your sewing machine, if you plan on removing the foundations.

You can sign up and pay for this class by phone or in person, and we will provide you with more complete information and a list of all supplies needed. Call 660-656-3325 to sign up today!
