Join us for "Birding for Beginners" on Sunday, April 22nd from 9:00am to 11:30 at Huntley Meadows Park- Alexandria, Va.

Learn the basics of birdwatching, and the use of field guides, and binoculars with a veteran birder. Walk will be on level terrain and on a ½ mile length boardwalk out into Huntley Meadows marsh and woodlands, to look for resident and migratory birds. - 2.5 miles overall.

Wear comfortable walking shoes you can get muddy. Cancelled in the event of rain.

We will meet at Huntley Meadows Visitor Center Parking Lot, 3701 Lockheed Boulevard, Alexandria, Va 22306.

DIRECTIONS-From Wilson Bridge go west over bridge, and then south on Route 1 (Richmond Highway), for 9 miles to stoplight at Lockheed Boulevard on right. 1.5 miles to Huntley Meadows Park entrance on left. From the South- go north on Route 1 (Richmond Highway) Lockheed Boulevard, and use directions above.
