The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau and Greater Huron Development Corporation are pleased to announce keynote speaker Mark J. Lindquist to inspire the audience at their “Building for the Future” joint annual meeting on April 3, 2018.

As seen on ABC’s LOST, CBS’ Hawaii Five-O and the Universal Studios movie “Battleship," Lindquist is a nationally recognized motivational speaker, highly sought-after success coach, singer, world-touring entertainer, US Air Force and Afghanistan war veteran, and author of the books, "Passion! 8 Steps to Reignite Yours," “Passion! 8 Steps to Find Yours” and "Service! My Way of Life."
Lindquist has performed for Grammy winning artists, Academy Award nominated actors, foreign dignitaries around the world as well as staffers at the White House. He has been featured on several major television networks, in many national publications and has shared the stage with the likes of Grammy Award winning artists Rihanna and Academy Award nominated actor Liam Neeson,.

Currently, Lindquist travels the country delivering keynote addresses. He also performs the National Anthem for collegiate and professional sports teams and is the full-time National Anthem singer for the National Champion University of North Dakota Men’s Hockey program as well as a guest performer for many college and professional baseball and football teams.

“This is a dynamic presenter that you will not want to miss,” said Laurie Shelton, CEO of the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau. The evening will begin with a social at 5:30pm at the Huron Event Center; dinner and the program will follow at 6:00pm. In addition to the keynote speaker, annual awards will also be presented including the Distinguished Civic Service Award, the Prairie Family Business Associations’ Family Business Award and the Mayor’s Award.

Tickets to the event are $35 for members of either organization or $45 for the general public and may be purchased only in advance at the Chamber & GHDC offices located at 1725 Dakota Avenue South.
