Mikael Rothstein (f. 1961) is associate professor in the study of comparative religion at Syddansk University (SDU), and holds a Ph.d. in the History of Religion. His field of research centers around the religion of people living in rainforest, in Borneo and different parts of South America. Before the movie Mikael will talk a little about religion among the Indians of South America and the cultural encounters depicted in the movie. In 2016 he published the book 'Regnskovens religion' about the last hunter-gathers in Borneo (U Press).
