The DÉSORDRE FESTIVAL runs from April 12th to 15th in Husets Biograf and then from April 15th to May 6th at the Cinemateket and is done in partnership with the French Institute. Via a selection of rare films, some of them shown for the first time in Denmark in presence of special guests, it inventories various filmic tendencies and measures the pulse of the still potent influence of “the spirit of May”. All films with dialogue are in French w/Eng subtitles or electronic subtitling

While staying a short time with his drug-addict cousin he meets a community of hermits who are fleeing society. When their guru betrays the rules, the group disbands in violence. Beautifully shot in the remote landscape of Cévennes with emblematic actors of the French new wave, Medveczky’s last movie is a disillusioned road trip about the lost aspirations of the ’68 generation.
