For this symposium, four leading researchers with an expertise in PARP inhibition—two each representing the fields of breast and ovarian cancer—will serve as the faculty and RTP president and medical oncologist Dr Neil Love will serve as the moderator. The program will be divided into four topic modules, two focused on each disease, and each module will begin with the presentation and discussion of an actual case from one of the faculty members' practices of a patient evaluated for and/or currently receiving treatment with a PARP inhibitor. Each case discussion will be followed by a faculty member-led review of relevant data and ongoing research informing clinical decision-making. To increase the interactivity, clinician attendees will use networked iPads to access all slides presented and submit their own cases and questions to Dr Love to foster additional panel discussion.
