We all know going to the library is good for your mind, but what about your body? Starting on September 9, the Ilion Free Public Library will host FREE Tai Chi classes from 11 a.m. to Noon every Saturday. Classes will be held in the library’s program room or outside, depending on the weather.

Tai Chi is proven to improve muscular strength, balance, and circulation in your body. Scientific evidence indicates Tai Chi can help with arthritis, diabetes, Parkinson disease and is an excellent gentle exercise for everyone.

The class is suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 12, must be accompanied by an adult. These classes will be led by Marilyn Miller, Bud Miner, and Sharon Seaman, certified Instructors with Leatherstocking Tai Chi.
