Roger plans to review his time as a member of the crew on
board Elysium 2, a Tartan 3700 owned by Fred and Sue Bally.
With a crew of 6-7 guys, who were primarily IVY Club members, we spent three days on the water racing and then another three days living on the boat in the harbor creating bonds and memories that will last a lifetime.
Even though we were in the cruising division, with Fred as our captain, we were always in the hunt for that first place bragging rights flag. For six years in a row, we got a little older and wiser with each conquest.
We proved that as sailors who learned to sail and race out of the IVY Club on our small and shallow body of water, that we could be quite competitive in open water regattas.
