Community Faces - Humanizing the Immigrant Label
An Interactive Gallery Exhibit Opening: FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!
Come see the student work that has been recognized for it's positive impact on our community!
When: Thursday, April 12 from 5:30 - 7:30
Where: The Immigration Advocacy and Support Center, 33 Washington Street (across the street from Washington St. Coffee House), New London
Come interact with student work in their interactive exhibit. Use our iPads or your own smart device to scan QR codes leading to student created work that tells the stories of 16 immigrant community members. Students will be present to answer questions about their work. Professionally printed books with all of the student work and interactive QR codes will be for sale at the event for $20. All proceeds will benefit the Immigration Advocacy Support Center, who provides low to no cost legal assistance to those wishing to become US citizens.
