A celebration of spring and all its new beginnings awaits during Easter Weekend on March 31-April 1 at the Indianapolis Zoo.
Easter is the perfect opportunity to highlight some of our Zoo Babies! Hippity hop through the Zoo to find your favorites, like orangutans Mila and Max, as well as lion cubs Enzi, Mashaka and Sukari. Learn fun facts about our many active youngsters through baby signs presented by Hendrix Regional Health and fun fact from our keepers at exhibits.
Of course, an Easter celebration wouldn't be complete without an egg hunt, and this one will include a “wild” twist with no basket required! Everyone who locates at least 10 of the 19 large animal-print egg signs hidden throughout the Zoo and Gardens will receive a special prize.
Plus, snap fun family photos at our Easter-themed photo opportunity. And enjoy yummy spring-inspired treats available for purchase at Café on the Commons.
Easter Weekend is also the perfect time to visit White River Gardens, where colorful blooms are springing up. Plus, the whole family can experience the beauty and wonder of Butterfly Kaleidoscope presented by Citizens Energy Group.
Easter Weekend is free for Zoo members and included with regular admission. Visit our website for additional event details: http://bit.ly/1YZQfir
