History and cultural examination: An exploration of belly dance of Anatolia, North Africa and the Middle East.
Dance movement techniques.
Exploring rhythm and melody.
Strength training and conditioning to develop the core, flexibility, balance, and well-being.
Introduction to costuming, make-up, and props such as veil and candles.
This course includes:
Baklava and Turkish black tea served after the workshop.

No dance experience is needed.
All level are welcomed.
Wear comfortable clothes.
Hip scarves and props are provided. If you own a hip scarf, please bring it with you.
