Acupuncturist Kayla Lakusta of Banyan Tree Health Ltd. and Melody Young RYT will take you through a unique 90 workshop focused on relieving the body and mind from the stress, anxiety and tension experienced in everyday life. During this workshop you will be guided through a gentle restorative class designed to alleviate the effects of daily stress, as well as assist in decreasing and even eliminating the feelings of fatigue and emotional strain, followed by a 30 minute acupuncture assisted Savasana.The combination of yoga and acupuncture loosen the fascia and stretch out the shortened muscles so that they can return to a normal resting state. These combined practices create awareness of personal contracted holding patterns and provide enhanced self-care techniques to reduce and eliminate them. Yoga stretches acupuncture meridians throughout the body, which helps regulate the flow that acupuncture strives to restore and maintain.
