Restorative Yoga is a passive yoga practice that encourages conscious relaxation. We position the body in familiar postures while using a variety of props to support the body so that while one area stretches, the rest of the body relaxes. Some poses have an overall benefit; others target a specific area. All create specific physiological responses that are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of a stress-related disease.

On a physiological level, it shoots the over-activity in the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
