The Interfaith Coalition for Mental Health (ICMH) will be hosting a luncheon and panel discussion on depression in congregations, accompanied with an interfaith prayer service, on Wednesday April 18th, from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, at Indiana Interchurch Center, Krannert Hall.
The purpose of this event is to:
-Explain what depression is and how it effects people
-Increase awareness of how leaders of religious communities
have seen depression impact their community
-Provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and
participate in discussion
-Connect communities to resources explaining how to get help,
and where they can go to receive it
Dr. Arman Siddiqui, psychiatrist at Adult Child and Health will be moderating this discussion. Panelists are currently being finalized, and will be announced shortly.
Note: Lunch is guaranteed for anyone who pre-registers on Eventbrite by 11:59 PM on April 12, 2018. Walk-ins are welcome, but lunch cannot be guaranteed.
$5 suggested donation for lunch can be made either online (http://www.centerforinterfaithcooperation.org/icmh/donate) or at the door.
