If you are an artist, craftsman, jeweler, painter or just make really cool stuff by hand. Now is your chance to get your items into our Mercantile store in our amazingly supportive community in Downtown Carterville!!

We offer a really unique atmosphere with high traffic!
There are several very talented Local vendors already in the store that have had a very successful year in sales & opportunities. Therefore spots do NOT open up very often for new vendors. So take advantage of this opportunity.

We need to add more vendors prior to our 1 year anniversary party taking place on April 14th. No worries if you do not have enough items to put in the store by that date. There will be time to put your items in the store between April 23rd - 27th.
You still need to attend one of the times & dates above so you can hear the information & make a decision to join the store or not.
We will not hold another vendor opening until after Summer 2018.

When?;
Tuesday April 3rd (presentation starts at; 10a, 12p, 2p, 4p, 6p)
Thursday April 4th (presentation starts at; 10a, 2p, 4p, 6p)

Our presentation will be the same on each time slot so pick one of the designated hours on either day.
We will START on the hour above. You will need to plan to be here exactly half hour early to check-in at the Mercantile Store (114 N Division Street) fill out the vendor form & sign a closed lip agreement & then set up your items on a table upstairs in the Event Center (113 Jersey Street) right above Crown Brew Coffee Co.

With What?:
Show up in person with 2-3 examples of your work.
Actual original pieces! (not just pictures of what you do)
Plan to listen and have an open mind.

Requirements;
Items MUST be handmade by you. (No kits)
You must be a LOCAL= work or live in Southern Illinois
It would be very smart of you to have an idea of price to sell your item & know how much you have in each item. If you have no clue do some research. Final prices are not needed at this time. There will be a discussion about prices & our area & realistic goals.

What to expect?;
Presentation starts on the hour above (approx. 30 minutes long). We will tell you our vision for the store & the whole revamp of Downtown Carterville & how we want our store to run. Which you will find is very different from your typical antique, consignment or flea market.
We will also explain how the store works; expectations, requirements, involvement, collaborations, pay, additional money making opportunities, etc.
Monthly or Quarterly commitment options available.

We will answer any question from the group (approx. 15 minutes)
We will review your items to see if they will be a good fit for the style of the store. We will give honest feed back.

Most importantly;
Make sure to allow time, we will complete in less than 1 hour after start time.
Bring your patience as you may have to wait your turn to talk to us individually. Or if you need to run after the presentation, you can set up an appointment to come back for a one on one time slot. Book that in the Mercantile store with the employee working the counter.
The best part, You may even make a friend or network with other like minded individuals!!
