This year our goal is to empower youths through learning and understanding how technology can impact our current and future lives . We will explore social media, bullying, coding, robotics and more. The summit will also feature talks about STEAM is the abbreviation for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math. It’s an integrated approach to learning that encourages students to think more broadly about real-world problems. This interdisciplinary approach has helped create innovations like the iPhone, the original laptop computer, and is even revolutionizing cooking in third world countries, and improving air quality. We will host a panel discussion, speakers and performances that will take place at St. George Theater . The event will also include college readiness and job readiness at St. George Public Library , Civic Engagement at Staten Island Borough Hall and financial management at Santander Bank.

Every year our youth summit data informs us that attendees have positively benefited from the resources, professionals and students they met while attending our summit. We have been able to assist attendees in securing college admission, employment and scholarships for schools. Our data and surveys at each youth summit inform us of best practices. The information helps develop programming and events tailored to creating the next generation of young leaders.
